People often ask me what my favorite soaps are. Soap is really personal and reflects skin type and preferences on scent. I started making soap because my skin has become so reactive, I need gentle most of all, but I also need a bit of exfoliation. The soaps below reflect what I have come to find what works for me.

Oatmeal Chamomile Bar

I made the original Oatmeal Chamomile for my friends having babies. What works for their delicate skin and rashes also is amazing for my skin when eczema rears its ugly head. These are gentle exfoliators and calming to angry skin.

Castille Brine

I love salt soap bars. This bar has gentle exfoliation and so much silky buttery moisturizing. It doesn’t have a ton of bubbles but it is perfect, especially as a way to shave my legs.

Rejuvenation

This bar was a random stroke of luck to create. Its a combination of protection (Apricot Kernel Oil), gentle moisture (Shea Butter), and a little something to sooth fine lines and imperfections (Geranium Essential Oil) - Not that I have any!

Its a perfect everyday face bar.

Coffee

Because of my stubbornly delicate skin, I can’t use the Coffee Scrub or Nutty Coffee Scrub, but I love this bar for all the smoothing benefits of the acids in coffee. This bar has a firming effect on my skin, which is always appreciated.

Trying to pin down a favorite out of the catalog is a tough one. Variety is the spice of life, right? All the soaps have their nuances and subtleties the make them a great way to get the day started. I like keeping two or three in the shower so I can make mix it up day to day depending on the mood—from the gentle Aloe & Lavender to the in your face pungency of Pine Tar. Aside from the variety I love the fact these bars don’t turn into the consistency of bubble gum after a few uses, they stay firm and last a surprisingly long time. I can’t wait for the next shipment!

I've never looked forward to soap before. Now I follow new releases from Everyday Unrivaled with the same interest I have for my favorite musicians.

Aloe & Lavender

I predict this is the bar that the Everyday Unrivaled corporate empire will be built upon. The "superfatted" descriptor really resonates after the very first use, as the benefits are immediate and undeniable — skin feels soft and pillowy, beard hair is fluffier. Rich, creamy lather. This is next-level stuff.

Pine Tar

I'll confess, once I started working from home, I stopped using deodorant and showering daily. The Pine Tar keeps me presentable. I love the woody, almost smoky fragrance so much; I swear, I fight the urge to bite it. 

True story: I was keeping a small bar at my desk, so I could smell it during the work week while I finished-up whatever bar I had in progress. Then one day, almost instinctively, I brought it into the shower prematurely, because I was having a bad week and I knew it would cheer me up.

‘I have fallen in love with Everyday Unrivaled. The name could not be more perfect. I have several of the bars, but my favorites are (in no particular order) Luxe Green Clay, Coffee Scrub, and Rejuvenation. I use the Green Clay and Rejuvenation everyday and the coffee scrub a couple times a week. I love the scents. They’re not over powering, but subtle and lingering. Perfect. I love the way my skin feels after using them.

Luxe Pink Clay & Madder Root

‘I don’t know what it is about the Luxe; maybe it’s the clay? Feels like it cleans deeper into the layers of my skin than any soap I’ve used in my life - but its also gentle and leaves my skin feeling moisturized.’
